Growth groups at Sturgis Missionary Church are small groups of people growing in their faith and walking with Jesus together.

These groups gather to connect with one another, build lasting relationships and nurture their spiritual growth. Participating in a growth group is a great way to meet new people and develop life-giving friendships.

• Adult Study - Discussions in Exodus - Room 6. Eric Ruckert leads us for Bible study and discussion. All are welcome to join at any time.

• Adult Study - The Women of Christmas - Lobby Classroom. Led by Sarah Snyder. October 26-Dec. 14. In preparation for Christmas, we will be studying three key women involved in the birth of our savior (8-week study). Books are in the classroom for reading and discussing. Anyone is welcome, questions are geared toward women but could apply to all.

• Women's Study - The Way of the Wildflower - Lobby Classroom. January 4 - Feb 1, 2026. We will be working through a devotional by Ruth Chou Simons, as she guides us through gospel meditations to unburden our anxious souls. Women will read a short devotional six out of seven days each week & discuss the readings when they meet on Sunday mornings & Wednesday evenings. There is a $10 fee to purchase the book. If the cost is difficult for you let us know & we'll get it for you. Please sign up on December 14.

• Men's Study - Men of God - Community Room. January 4 - Feb 1, 2026. A five-week commitment to gathering for support & encouragement as we strengthen ourselves with the empowerment that comes through Jesus. We will pray for one another, hear encouragement about the empowerment that comes through Jesus for the battles ahead, & whittle on sticks as we dive deeper into what the Holy Spirit wants to communicate to us.  We will meet on Sunday mornings & Wednesday evenings. Let's stand together as brothers, ready to face the challenges ahead. Bring your pocketknife. Please sign up on December 14.

• Children's Ministry Sunday School - Education Wing. Nursery through Grade 5 have classes with games, crafts, and devotionals.

• Youth Group Sunday School - Lower level Youth Room. Students in Grade 6 through 12 play games, connect with one another, and learn how to know, love and follow Jesus for a lifetime.

• Midweek Adult Study - Meet in Room 2. Prayer and Study led by Tim & Julie Rouch. The current discussion topic is the book How to be Christian without Being Religious by Graham Jones. We read discuss a few pages per week. Books are provided. All are welcome to join at any time.

• Young Adults - Young adults group meeting at Jared and Hannah Eichorn's home from 6:30-9 pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month. A time of Bible study, games, food, and community. Contact Jared & Hannah or Pastor Joshua if interested in joining.

• Join a serve team - A great way to connect is through volunteering! Join the worship team, help with youth or kids, or sign up to greet or serve coffee! Find out more about serving.

• Monthly Trivia Nights - A fun way to get to laugh and get to know other church members. Teams of up to six people compete as they answer questions from all sorts of categories, from history to sports to entertainment! Held most months on the third or fouth Thursday. Learn more and Sign Up Here.
